that affects volitional movement involving mobility:
Difficulty initiating a first step
Festinating gait
Shuffling, freezing, and stalling
was developed by Technical Aid to the Disabled volunteer, John Green, as an aid for sufferers of Parkinson's Disease who have developed
such mobility problems.
The
stick is a walking aid (walking stick) that provides a visual and
physical cue to help the user initiate that first step. This
gives the user the independence, freedom, and mobility
to go wherever they wish.
